About Me
DnD, Rolemaster and Battletech way back in 1987 led me to collecting the odd miniature here n there and making up my own rules sets which started my addiction. Enjoy playing Axis and Allies, World in Flames (when i could be bothered to set it all up again!), Supremacy, Wings of War, Killer Bunnies, Bloodbowl, Space Hulk (old school not young'un) and Titan Legions. Currently focussing on Flames of War (MW but some LW as well), Malifaux and 40K (pick an army- I've probably got at least 1200pts minimum of it); although i am also trying to get in some games of X-Wing, A Game of Thrones LCG and Battlestar Galactica. I try to get to the hall every second Wednesday.

My interests are sport (soccer and cricket), computer gaming (1st person shooters and strategy) and military history, especially Roman military history. I just completed my Bachelor in Archaeology and i'm currently finishing my Honours in History. My thesis is about battles of total annihilation in the ancient world, looking at Cannae, Carrhae and Teutoburg Forrest. I love spending time with my fiancee and having debates about different aspects of history. |
